Update on Joe Biden's Iowa chances

Update: While I admit I was already eulogizing Joe Biden's Iowa campaign nary a week ago, he may yet pull it out. The Associated Press recently did a story on this, and it turns out that Sen. Biden does, in fact, have some pockets of significant rural support in Iowa, enough to garner some delegates come caucus night. Also, the latest RCP average before Christmas has Biden at an even 5.0%, which is a slight improvement. A fourth place finish looks increasingly likely, but a third place overtaking of John Edwards still seems to be a bit far-fetched.

Oh, and Merry Christmas everyone!
